ABOUT
I have been coloring and sketching since as far back as I can remember. My mom bought me my first drawing table my Sophomore year of high school which legitimized my favorite hobby. I would design outfits I would love to wear, mostly jeans and t-shirts, but with specific logos on them. I would also take on various bedroom redesigns which included a fresh paint color and some sort of stencil art. Design was always an integral part of my life and I was eager to explore various mediums. While in college, I was able to actualize a career in graphic design and developed a passion for branding environments.
My professional career as a graphic designer started after graduating college in 2010 at Tube Art Group in Bellevue, WA. I learned how to navigate and successfully manage large-scale interior signage jobs. Some of our clients included: Amazon, Group Health (Now Kaiser), Seattle Children's Hospital and Swedish Medical Center. I was able to successfully complete these colossal projects while being the sole designer. As the company grew, I trained and managed a new group of designers, assigning workloads and providing art direction.
After a few years of elevating my experience, I was offered a creative role at Messenger in Seattle. Here, I designed entire store environments for Whole Foods Markets and various others. This is where my passion for interior design flourished. I was able to reach beyond the scope of signage and incorporate the environment and human experience into my design. The production facility where all the signage and graphics were produced was in-house, so I able to make frequent progress checks on the product, making a tremendous impact on creating a successful product.
